Hapalopsittaca
A genus of Neotropical parrot native to the Andes of South America.
It contains the following species:
Rusty-faced parrot (Hapalopsittaca amazonina)
Red-faced parrot (Hapalopsittaca pyrrhops)
Fuertes's parrot (Hapalopsittaca fuertesi)
Black-winged parrot (Hapalopsittaca melanotis)
The rusty-faced parrot, red-faced parrot and Fuertes's parrot form a super-species complex, and have at various times. been considered conspecific.
