Macaw Hybrids - F4 - Fourth Generation

Fourth generation hybrids are rare. The further away from the pure species you get, the lower the fertility and increased chances of the third generation being sterile. Research has shown that there should be more 4th generation hybrids that are derived from Scarlet Macaws. The Scarlet Macaw has a high level of fertility compared to other pure species. This results in more fertile hybrids.
